    Veterinarian
    Dr. Pelphrey graduated from the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 with Highest Honors. After interning and practicing in Louisville for 5 years, Dr. Pelphrey came to Corydon in June of 1991 to take over operation of the Corydon Animal Hospital. Dr. Pelphrey is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in both Indiana and Kentucky, and is a fully Federally Accredited Veterinarian. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana VMA, Kentucky VMA and the Arabian Horse Association. Dr. Pelphrey is a general practitioner with special interests in Well Pet Preventive Medicine, Internal Medicine, Senior Care, Dentistry, and Hospital Management and Development.

    Clinic Supervisor
    Our high-energy, get-it-done gal is Jill.  She has been trained for both the front staff and the back staff, but her love of animals shines through in all she does!  Jill, a graduate of Meade County High School, began her training here at Corydon Animal Hospital in September of 2007.  She has a regular barn load of animals at home as well, so she is tending to, treating this, or mending critters daily.  Keep at it Jill.

    Vanessa has been a part of our Corydon Animal Hospital family for 15 years.  We will forever hold her dear in our hearts.  Though she is no longer with us here on earth, her spirit of loving kindness will always guide us through our days.
  • Dana Taylor

    Practice Manager/Human Resource/Customer Service Representative

    Dana has been in customer service since High School. (A long, long time ago on a far off planet.)   She has shared this talent in many arenas such as Broadcasting, Fine Jewelry and Nursing Homes.   2000 saw her leaving these fields and joining the Corydon Animal Hospital.  Helping people is where she shines.  Their comfort as well as that of their pets is near and dear to her heart. An animal lover all her life it didn’t take long to acquire an animal or two…or three. Dana has one Shih-tzu “Kiera” and two adopted cats “Gracie” and “Coppertop”.  Life is never boring! Don't hesitate to call on Dana to help you get the best care for your pet.

    Customer Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant

    April came on board with Corydon Animal Hospital in late summer of 2014.  Her passion for animal care and warm heart led her to this fulfilling career.  April shares her home with her two teen sons and fur babies, Bubby the cat and Lola the dog.

  • Nichole Lowe

    Animal Care Specialist

    Nichole has been working with our hospital as an Animal Care Specialist for over a year.  She has a LIFELONG love of animals.  Nichole shares her home with her wife, Misty and son, Sebastian.  Filling the household out are 1 dog, 4 cats, 1 hamster and a lone fish.  Add to that whatever “foster” animals she brings home.  In her spare time Nichole enjoys hiking, loves watching horror movies and baking!
